This was my first Themed project I was wanting to do out of fun. Michelle had originally contacted me to do a Vintaged theme, but considering timing and planning I thought that doing a 60s housewife theme would be easier. I was lucky that my apartment had a nice yellow range, range hood, and yellow speckled white tiles in the kitchen so we thought they would provide a very cool setting. And while in the planning stages of the shoot, I coincidentally found this really cute baby blue sewing machine (that still works!) right next to...of all places...the dumpster! Lucky us! The sewing machine is definately making more appearances in the future!
LOVED seeing the transformation from decade to decade with awesome makeup by Rony Luan of Flawless Forever and hair styling by Keara Frost....what a great team they are. Michelle, a burlesque dancer on the side, needed little instruction from me, and left me with some nice poses I may suggest to others :) Makes me want Themes all the time!!!
